Snow tires or other winter equipment mandatory on the roads of the Jura Mountains

To prepare your journey by car 🚗 to our Gîte du Jura establishment and then to drive daily by car during your stay in one of our cottages, we would like to inform you that our village of Foncine-le-Haut is located in the area subject to the obligation to fit your vehicle with tires (winter/snow or 4 seasons) marked with the 3PMSF symbolor to have removable equipment (metal chains or textile chains called "snow socks") in your vehicle.

👉 This applies every year from November 1 to March 31 (Mountain law).
